Dennis Canavan, Independent Member of the Scottish Parliament for Falkirk West, intends to introduce a Bill in the Scottish Parliament to establish a St Andrew's Day Bank Holiday in Scotland. A consultation paper is available on his website giving some information about the proposal, and seeking people's views on it. Please read through the paper, and you are invited to respond to the consultation paper by answering the questions in section 9.
